Prithviraj Sukumaran is an Indian actor, director, producer and playback singer primarily working in Malayalam language films.

He has also done Tamil, Hindi and Telugu films.

He acted in more than 100 films in a variety of roles and has received several awards including a National Film Award, three Kerala State Film Awards, a Tamil Nadu State Film Award, five Kerala Film Critics Association Awards and a South Filmfare Award.
Prithviraj made his acting debut with Nandanam (2002), a commercial success.

He established himself as a leading Malayalam actor with Classmates (2006), the highest-grossing Malayalam film of the year.

The Kerala State Film Award for Best Actor for Vaasthavam made him its youngest recipient at 24.

He played a musician in the Tamil romantic comedy Mozhi (2007) and ventured into playback singing with Puthiya Mukham (2009) before earning his second Kerala State Film Award for Best Actor for medical drama Ayalum Njanum Thammil and biographical film Celluloid.
In 2010, Prithviraj joined the production house August Cinema to then headline and co-produce Urumi and Indian Rupee (both 2011); the latter won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Malayalam and Kerala State Film Award for Best Film.[6] He won a Tamil Nadu State Film Award for Best Villain for Kaaviya Thalaivan (2014) before appearing in Ennu Ninte Moideen (2015) and Ezra (2017).

After leaving August Cinema in 2017, he launched Prithviraj Productions independently that firstly backed 9 (2019).

Prithviraj made his directorial debut with Lucifer (2019), which was the highest-grossing Malayalam film ever until June 2023.

He has since starred in Driving License (2019), Ayyappanum Koshiyum (2020), Jana Gana Mana (2022) Kaduva (2022) and Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire (2023).
The Goat Life (titled in Malayalam as Aadujeevitham | ആടുജീവിതം) is an upcoming Indian Malayalam-language survival drama film written, directed, and co-produced by Blessy.

The film is an international co-production involving companies in India and the United States.

It is an adaptation of the 2008 bestselling Malayalam novel Aadujeevitham by Benyamin, which is based on a true incident.

The film stars Prithviraj Sukumaran as Najeeb, a Malayali immigrant labourer who finds himself forced into slavery as a goatherd on a secluded farm in Saudi Arabia.
The film was in development hell since 2009.

Blessy wanted to adapt Aadujeevitham ever since he read the novel in 2008.

Prithviraj was cast in the same year.

In 2009, Blessy signed the deal with Benyamin and began writing the screenplay.

However, budget constraints prevented substantial progress.

Blessy spent years searching for a producer, finally finding one in 2015, allowing the project to gain momentum.

Jimmy Jean-Louis and Steven Adams also joined as producers, along with Blessy himself.

Rahman composed the film's original score and songs.
Principal photography took place in phases between March 2018 and July 2022 through six schedules in the deserts of Wadi Rum, Jordan and the Sahara, Algeria, with some scenes shot in Kerala, India.

The crew was stranded in Jordan desert for 70 days from March to May 2020.

Filming concluded on 14 July 2022.
The Goat Life is scheduled to release on 28 March 2024.
