American professional eater Randy Santel versus Gustavo's undefeated 20 Mexican Street Tacos Challenge at Gustavo's Mexican Restaurant in Waukegan, Illinois!! After finishing up my trip around Minnesota and parts of Northwest Wisconsin, I headed south from Milwaukee to Waukegan, Illinois so I could attempt to become the first person to conquer Gustavo's unbeaten 20 Mexican Street Tacos Challenge at Gustavo's Mexican Restaurant which was by far the toughest street tacos challenge I've ever attempted.
I had just 15 short minutes to quickly eat 20 double-tortilla street tacos which were extra delicious but challenging to eat fast because each taco was made with two corn tortillas.
There were five beef steak tacos, five chorizo street tacos, five chicken tacos, and five pork al pastor Mexican street tacos, so twenty total.
Drinks were served to me but they were just optional and not required to be finished within the 15 minute time limit.
I was trying to become the first champion to dominate and win my $65 tacos platter free plus $100 cash and a spot on Gustavo's Wall of Fame!! If you try this challenge in the future, be sure to get there on a Tuesday, or "Taco Tuesday," when Gustavo's tacos are all half-price!!
