The original ALSEP video was getting a bit dated, so I decided to remake it with better audio and visuals.
Enjoy!
The Apollo Lunar Surface Experiments Package (ALSEP) was a modular, automatic system for collecting data on the lunar surface and transmitting it back to earth.
Six ALSEP systems were installed on the moon over six successful lunar landings, and the data they returned added immensely to our scientific knowledge of the moon's history, geology, and environment.
