American professional eater Randy Santel versus Big Daddy's 10+lb "Belly Buster" Bacon Cheeseburger Challenge hosted by Big Daddy's Burgers in Duluth, Minnesota.
I attempted 9 big competitive eating restaurant challenges during my Minnesota trip.
For final food challenge event #9 of nine, I traveled to Duluth, Minnesota so I could attempt Big Daddy's massive 11-Patty "Belly Buster" Bacon Cheeseburger Challenge.
I tried my best to win before I began because I knew this would be the biggest food challenge I had ever attempted!! Big Daddy's offers a smaller burger challenge, but I attempted the biggest one available, which is a progressive burger patty record challenge.
My friend @mollyschuyler-Mom-Vs-Food and a few other eaters have beaten it over the years, growing it up to TEN 1/2 pound beef hamburger patties.
To win the challenge within the one hour time limit, I had to beat the previous best by eating ELEVEN 1/2 pound beef hamburger patties, stacked and layered with cheese slices, and served with 2lbs of Big Daddy's hand-cut fries.
There were 2 strips of thick-cut bacon and 2 slices of American cheese on each patty, so this burger consisted of ELEVEN half-pound beef patties, 22 slices of cheese, 22 strips of bacon, and zero healthy vegetables.
The 2lbs of fries were weighed after being cooked.
I was trying to win my ~$58 bacon cheeseburger meal free, a sweet t-shirt, and the top spot on Big Daddy's Wall of Fame.

Eleven 1/2 pound burger patties (5.5lbs) + 22 cheese slices (~1lb) + 22 bacon strips (1.5lbs) + 2lbs hand-cut fries (2lbs) = 10 POUNDS!! (not including bun)
