Republican candidate and former US president Donald Trump has promised at a Las Vegas rally to end taxation on income from tips.
"And for those hotel workers and people that get tips, you are going to be very happy," Trump told supporters.
"Because when I get to office, we are going to not charge taxes on tips, people making tips."
The direct appeal to Nevada’s service workers comes as polls show the swing state leaning his way ahead of the November 5 election.
The rally was Trump's first since his conviction on May 30 for falsifying records over a hush-money payment.
