American professional eater Randy Santel versus GQue BBQ's massive "Grand Champion" Barbecue Platter Challenge at the GQue BBQ Restaurant location in Lone Tree, Colorado which is south of Denver!! Seven weeks after getting home from the European sightseeing and eating challenge trip with @KatinaEatsKilos, I left on a 2-week trip and attempted 6 huge and delicious food challenges around Dallas (Texas), Denver (Colorado), and Scottsdale (Arizona).
For food challenge #4 of six, I headed to the GQue BBQ location in Lone Tree, Colorado which is south of the Denver Metro area.
There are multiple GQue BBQ locations around the Denver area and they all used to host this "Grand Champion" BBQ Platter Challenge.
Thankfully, Jason the owner was okay with bringing the challenge back just for me to attempt while in the area to promote the restaurant on my channels.
Many people originally attempted this giant platter challenge but only few had been able to actually win within the 1 hour time limit.
I had one hour to feast on a giant barbeque platter filled with 6 bbq ribs, 2 smoked sausage links, 1/2 lb smoked beef brisket, 1/2 lb bbq pulled pork, 1/2 lb diced chicken thighs, 1/2 lb (6) spicy hot buffalo chicken wings, 1 pint of creamy macaroni & cheese, 1 pint of apple coleslaw made with green Granny Smith Apples, and 2 slices of Texas toast.
Some homemade pickles and other healthy vegetables were added too.
The beer drank during this video and the banana pudding ice cream dessert were both just optional and not part of the challenge.
I was trying to become one of the few elite people to win my $75 barbeque platter challenge meal free plus a sweet t-shirt, a gift card to be used later, and a spot on the GQue BBQ Lone Tree location's Wall of Fame.
