American professional eater Randy Santel versus The Pizza Bistro's 24-Inch Big "Texan" Pizza Challenge hosted by The Pizza Bistro in Fort Worth, Texas of the USA!! Seven weeks after getting home from the European sightseeing and eating challenge trip with @KatinaEatsKilos, I left on a 2-week trip and attempted 6 huge and delicious food challenges around Dallas (Texas), Denver (Colorado), and Scottsdale (Arizona).
For food challenge #2 of six, I headed to The Pizza Bistro in Forth Worth, Texas so I could attempt their popular 24-Inch "Big Texan" Pizza Challenge which was very delicious and has been beaten by many of my competitive eating friends.
44 brave people had failed and there had only been 12 winners.
I had 1 full hour to finish a 24" diameter pizza divided up into four quarters, each featuring a delicious set of specialty pizza toppings that I selected from the regular menu.
I ordered 1/4 cheesesteak pizza, 1/4 breakfast pizza, 1/4 Mediterranean Pizza, and 1/4 "Hot Chick" Pizza with grilled chicken, bacon, and Texas Pete Hot Sauce.
I was trying to become just the 13th champion to win my $55 "Texan" pizza meal free plus a sweet t-shirt, a gift certificate to receive another free 24" pizza to be eaten in the future, and a spot on The Pizza Bistro's Wall of Fame.
