KEVIN FRANKE FULL POLICE INTERVIEW NOTES:
-Kevin he was not being looked at as a suspect
- Kevin asked about the “pen papers”-a leather folder where Ruby wrote all
interactions from August 2021-until an unknown date.
He states that what was in the pen papers was more than what was in her journals and that it was not meant to be read until God decreed them as scripture and they would be ready for the world to read.
Described all the visions and trances Ruby and Jodi had.
Given to Jodi in 2022.
There were hundreds of papers in it.
Police said that they didn’t find it.
Papers tie everything also to Pam Botcher.
- Reference to the Paige Hannah family
- Jodi had larger interest in communicating with parents than the patient/child
- Things got extra strange around fall of 2020 - Hannahs tried to convince Ruby into Connexions with a focus on lust vs.
love and having happier relationships.
Ruby wanted Kevin to go to a conference regarding it in 2019.
About 100 people were at the conference.
Kevin felt that it was a group of man-hating women there to tear down their husbands.
- Kevin started the Connections men group in 2020 due to peer pressure.
There were about 10 men in the group.
The group focused on sex, porn and drug addiction but was a general addiction recovery group.
Kevin did 3 months and was ready to leave but was challenged to have a “vulnerable conversation” about how his “lustful decisions” had affected her life.
- Kevin expressed how the bean bag 8 passenger episode caused them to lose 90 percent of their income.
Ruby was very upset about this and went to Jodi for support.
- Kevin started speaking at conferences in fall of 2020.
- March of 2021, post Connection conference, in a talk with the women, Jodi said she was being tormented and haunted by shadow figures every night.
Kevin stated that a few months later, the Hannahs picked Jodi up and brought them to their home in Mapleton and Jodi was there for 6 weeks.
They tried to introduce her to another “cult lady” (unknown).
According to Jodi, she was held against her will for 6 weeks and then escaped.
Jodi was a mess after and reached out to Ruby.
Ruby wanted to be the most liked by Jodi and loved this opportunity.
- Kevin and Jodi went to stay at Jodi’s house and stated while he was there he heard noises in the basement and plates and stuff would fly around in the kitchen, etc.
and Ruby felt like she could help.
-The Bishop was there every night “casting out demons” but finally had enough of it.
It was suggested that Jodi stay with the Frankes.
- He said as soon as Jodi was in his house, weird stuff started happening.
Kevin become the “resident exorcist” and speak blessings over here and fight it.
Ruby started staying with Jodi every hour and eventually began sleeping in the same bed with her to help her fight the demons.
They both began getting in trances and having visions which they called interventions.
Kevin oversaw watching the kids during this time.
- After this, Ruby was unhappy with Kevin and asked for a separation and decided to give Jodi 8 passengers and all business stuff.
- Ruby asked Kevin to leave in July of 2022.
During that year, Jodi controlled Kevin’s behavior via Ruby and he was isolated from church, friends and family because he was “seeking enablement” as he was working to get back into Ruby’s (and Jodi’s) good graces.
- Ruby started wanting Kevin to start signing over documents and was even trying to get him to sign away the house so she could sell it.
During this time he was immersed by Ruby in the ideology that he was totally evil and manipulative and selfish.
He began confessing to things he didn’t do.
He wasn’t allowed to see his family.
- In one of the visions Jodi (I think it was Jodi, not Ruby) had, said she was
walking along the beach with Jesus and learned to walk on water, in another, she had a spirit lion in heaven named Charles and she would ride him.
She also said she had satanic visions and would talk to Kevin in other voices stating she was “satan’s bride” and things like that.
- Police asked about a bag of money and if it went to the lawyer.
Kevin said he didn’t know.
The police said that Ruby got that money from the kids’ accounts and Kevin’s account and recommended civil action to get it back.
- Chad was getting therapy from Jodi.
When he was 17, he was expected to pay for his own therapy from Jodi and was expected to pay 900 a month for it.
