    WHAT IS A 30-DAY PLAN? 01:53
A 30-day plan for job interviews is a short but powerful document that details what you will do in the position once you start work for the company.
A 30-day plan tells the hiring manager exactly what they will get in return from the salary they are going to pay you.

A 30-day plan shows you are highly-organized and that you want to make sure the employer sees a positive return from their investment if they hire you.
WHAT TO PUT IN A 30-DAY PLAN FOR JOB INTERVIEWS! 02:37
    #1.

The first thing to include in your 30-day plan is that you will get a thorough brief from your manager or supervisor on what is expected of you in the role.

Putting this in your 30-day plan tells the hiring manager that you expect to be held accountable for your work.
    #2.

The second thing to include in your 30-day plan is that you will then meet with your co-workers, establish their strengths, and determine exactly what you need to do in your work to achieve the team's objectives.
    #3.

The third thing to include in your 30-day plan is that you will learn all company policies and procedures to ensure you complete your duties diligently and in accordance with what is expected of you.

Putting this in your 30-day plan also tells the hiring manager you are a diligent and conscientious worker.
OK, now that we know what to include in our 30-day plan of action, let me teach you how to give it to the hiring manager in your job interview for maximum impact.

I recommend you mention your 30-day plan when the interviewer asks why we should hire you?
Here’s exactly how to hand over your plan to the hiring manager in a live interview…
WHY SHOULD WE HIRE YOU? 04:25
“You should hire me for 3 reasons.

The first reason is that I am a solid match for the job description, meaning I positively impact the company’s long-term goals.

The second reason you should hire me is because I am a supportive co-worker, flexible in my duties and have a proven track record of achievement meaning you will see a great return from my salary.

Finally, the third reason you should hire me is because I have a plan of action of what I will do in the first 30 days of starting work in this role.

I have brought along with me that plan of action, I would like you to have a copy!”
