Environmental Progress President Michael Shellenberger has slammed World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH) members pushing “dangerous” trans experiments on children.
Leaked WPATH files show surgeons, therapists, and activists discussing how to treat people with gender distress and how to deal with people who may be regretting surgery.
The files show WPATH members are aware that children and adolescents cannot comprehend the lifelong consequences of “gender-affirming care”.
“Men and women are not merely superficial.
It's all the way down to our core physical, cellular, organs, our genetics,” Mr Shellenberger told Sky News Australia.
“Really you're dealing with really a pseudoscientific cult.
That's the only accurately describe it, that's performing what is the equivalent of witchcraft on children.”
