This summer, The Tabernacle Choir is practicing at the Conference Center so the famous Tabernacle organ can be tuned and repaired! Joseph Nielsen gave us a little behind-the-scenes as he worked on the Salicional (the soft-toned organ stops) that go to the antiphonal (a division of the organ placed at a distance from the main organ).
We’re always amazed at how many pipes are required to make this organ sing! Stay tuned for more organ behind-the-scenes over the next few months!
