Kaiser Bengali is an economist with over 40 years of experience in teaching, research, and policy advice in Pakistan and internationally.
Holding a master’s from Boston University and a Ph.D.
from the University of Karachi, he has served at institutions like the Sustainable Development Policy Institute and as Managing Director of the Social Policy & Development Centre.
His research focuses on economic inequality, poverty, and regional development.
Notably, he was the first head of the Benazir Income Support Programme and has held advisory roles in Sindh and Balochistan governments.
