Mike Dean needs no introduction...
With fingerprints all over the most iconic albums of our generation (created by Kanye West, Beyonce, Travis Scott, The Weeknd and more), the Houston-born visionary is a fabric of hip-hop's evolution over the past five decades.
Between his signature synth-heavy sound, lavish outros and otherworldly projects -- simultaneously screened by the haze of his '4:20' album series -- Dean is still looking for the next big thing amid an undisputed track record.
He refuses to slow down despite all that he's already accomplished, now looking forward to his March 1 show at The Wiltern in Los Angeles with a slew of "top secret projects" on the way.
Simply put, Dean is a living legend in every regard.
His advice for young creatives echoes on the keys as he plays out the interview: "keep playing."
