For a budget of around £300-£600 in the UK you can grab the Pixel 7a, Samsung's Galaxy A54 5G, the Xiaomi 13T and other mid-range marvels.

Manufacturers like Google, Nothing, Samsung, Xiaomi and Realme all offer a selection of compelling smartphones at a mid-range asking price.
The Pixel 7a is still the best around for camera performance but rivals like the OnePlus Nord 3 and Samsung's Galaxy A54 5G aren't far behind.
The Nothing Phone 1 & 2 offer unique features like that Glyph lighting, plus premium bits such as wireless charging.
Meanwhile the Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus is a bit of a mouthful but also a great mid-range smartphone, boasting impressive specs for a budget-friendly cost.
That one should be launching globally soon.
Don't sleep on the brilliant Xiaomi 13T for a bit more cash, while that Poco F5 Pro is one of my favourite mid-range phones for gaming.
