American pro eater Randy Santel and @MagicMitch Dombrowski, each versus Guido's Premium 7lb "Big G" Super Deluxe Detroit-Style Deep Dish Pizza Challenge hosted by the Guido's Premium Pizza location in Sault Ste.
Marie on Michigan's Upper Peninsula!! After @SteelRodRadim and I attempted the three Wisconsin food challenges together, we drove to Abrams, Wisconsin which is north of Green Bay, so we could pick up our friend "Magic" Mitch Dombrowski.
We all took a trip together up to Michigan's Upper Peninsula, and I attempted FIVE food eating challenges before we headed south into mainland Michigan.
For man vs food challenge #1 of five, we drove all the way to Sault Ste.
Marie, Michigan on the USA/Canada border, so we could each attempt Guido's 7lb "Big G" 16-inch x 16-inch Super Deluxe Detroit-Style Deep Dish Pizza Challenge.
There are many Guido's Premium Pizza locations in the Detroit area, but only the Sault Ste.
Marie location up north hosts this "Big G" Pizza Challenge.
"Magic" Mitch Dombrowski and I went first and each had 1 full hour to eat a 16"x16" square-shaped Detroit-Style Deep Dish Pizza loaded with Guido's "Super Deluxe" pizza toppings.
There were lots of typical pizza meats plus healthy vegetables, along with mozzarella and Munster cheeses and healthy diced pineapple chunks (9 toppings total in addition to the cheeses).
We were each trying to win our $32 pizzas free plus sweet Guido's t-shirts, $25 Gift Cards to use later, and our names & photos posted on one of the tables inside Guido's dining room.
