Many of you have asked what camera and editing tools I use ????
I'm not gatekeeping, just waiting for the right moment.
• For the camera, I use an iPhone 15 Pro Max.
• For the tripod, I use a three-legged tripod that can be set up in landscape and portrait mode.
I really like this tripod more than a big ring light that takes up space.
• For sound, I don't use a mic; everything is directly from the phone.
• For lighting, I try to use natural light as much as possible, but when it's dark in the Netherlands, I have a small light for photos.
• For editing, I always use InShot.
InShot also has automatic translation because in my videos, I speak Dutch or Indonesian, and it's translated to English so everyone can understand.
As much as possible, I want to create content as it is, so I don't feel sorry if there are sounds of my kids playing or laughing in the background because that's the life of a mother cooking at home.
I used to start with ASMR and then used music for my videos, but now I choose not to use music anymore because sometimes if people don't like the music, they can skip the video.
Also, it's hard to choose the right music, and there's the issue of copyright.
I mean, if people want to listen to music, they can listen to their own.
This time, I just feel like being real.
This is me cooking as it is, sometimes with simple ingredients.
My child is at home playing; just be real.
I started cooking and making reels in November 2022.
I never really grew, but I kept uploading because I enjoy it and really want to be a content creator.
Only three months ago, I had just 2k followers, and I'm very grateful that now I'm starting to see the results after a year and a half of hard work.
If you've ever thought of becoming a content creator, keep going! Don't give up.
First, find a niche you enjoy and will never get bored doing.
I used to talk about the Netherlands, then parenting, and now cooking.
Because like it or not, cooking is something I have to do every day, so I chose the cooking niche because I do it daily.
